Description: Pair of vintage cast stone baskets of fruit decorated with white marble aggregate. 16 inches high, and 16 inches wide. Circa 1950. These baskets are cast with fine detail and the marble chips on the fruit add sparkle in the sunlight. Used to flank an entrance or to top piers.

Description: A large late 19th century campana or bell shaped antique cast iron garden urn on original plinth or base. American. 42 inches high and 23 inches wide. 20 square base. With a egg and dart designed lip and a fluted and lobed bowl, the urn sits high on a large square decorated original plinth. This urn has been professionally cleaned and repainted a soft muted green color. This traditional form of garden urn with its upturned bell shape relates to early Greek vases from antiquity. Over the centuries single large urns have often been placed in the center of a garden as a focal point to be admired as an object of taste and refinement. This antique urn is quite large cast with attractive decorative detail, perfect for a garden focal point.

Description: Pair of late 19th century cast iron two part classical tazza-form urns with lobed wide bowls with egg and dart rims sitting on high plinths decorated with raised classical decoration on four sides, over stepped out bases decorated with classical swags. Possibly English. These urns have exceptional crisp detail and are an excellent height for display. They have been professionally cleaned, primed and repainted a light grey green, ready to place. 34 inches high, bowl 21 inches wide, and 16 inch square base.

Description: Magnificent pair of opposing large male lions with paws raised on top of spheres, of cast stone with quartz aggregate and white lime wash, with extraordinary detail. Circa 1900-1920. These are after the 'Medici Lions' (1589) still standing at the Loggia Dei Lanzi Piazza Della Signoria in Florence where they can still be seen today. 42 inches high, 46 inches deep, and 16 inches wide. Provenance: Baltimore, Maryland estate. This important pair of lions would be outstanding flanking a major entrance or pathway. The 'Medici Lions' were commissioned by Ferdinando 1 de Medici,Grand Duke of Tuscany, and originally set in the Loggia dei Lioni at Villa Medici, Rome to ornate the villa's garden staircase. The basis for the design was an antique Roman marble relief. This was worked up as a full figure looking to its right by Giovanni di Scherano Fancelli in c.1598, and accompanied by a mirror-image version by contemporary sculptor Flaminio Vacca (1538-1605). The original pair remained in Rome until 1789, before being moved to Florence. Today they can be seen at the Loggia dei lanzi in Florence, Italy.

Description: Pair of labeled cast iron garden urns decorated with wreaths of grapevines under top, with handles and on original plinths that are labeled Kramer Bros.Fdy, Dayton, Ohio. These two part large urns have been professionally cleaned and repainted black. 37 inches high and 24 inches wide. This urn design is illustrated in the Kramer Foundry Catalog Fig. S-55 and titled "Favorite". The Kramer Foundry was established in 1895 by George H. Kramer in partnership with his brothers Henry and Joseph in Dayton, Ohio. They developed a line of cast iron floral urns, lawn settees, chairs and ornamental accessories, many times copying designs from European foundries. They discontinued production in 1950. SOLD

Description: Venetian Grotto chair,shell form, by Brown Jordon. Cast aluminum in original finish with impressed shell back, over upholstered slip seat and on cabriole legs. Heavy weight. Unusual and charming design. Mid 20th century. 37 inches high, 19 1/2 inches wide and 17 1/2 inches deep. $375. This chair design is based on a chair found in Pompei, Italy. It was latter called a grotto or Venetian chair in the 19th century and was made of painted pine wood and silvered in silver leaf. This Venetian chair design was a great favorite of the French artist Matisse and he painted it in many of his works. Unusual and charming. Makes a big statement!

Description: Salterini wrought iron table and set of six wrought iron chairs with curved cane openwork mesh backs and seats, and 'penny' feet. The table is decorated with scrolls and leaves and has glass top. These pieces have been professionally cleaned, primed and repainted in gloss black paint. Circa 1950. The heavy chairs are a very ample size for comfortable seating. Chairs measure 32 inches high, 18 1/2 inches wide and 15 1/2 inches deep. Table measures 30 1/2 inches by 60 1/2 inches.
