Description: Antique cast iron jockey hitching post labeled on base in casting: "McKettrick Foundry Co. Union Beach, N.J." This jockey figure is in good structural condition with no breaks or repairs and in old weathered paint. Circa 1900. 47 inches high, 20 inches wide and the base is 15 1/2 inches square.

Description: Antique cast iron jockey hitching post found in Jersey City, N.J. This unusual jockey figure has been cast in a side viewing stance, with the original hitching horse ring in its hand, and stands on its original plinth. It has been professionally cleaned of a few remains of old yellow paint, primed and is ready to be painted in colorful silks. Late 19th or very early 20th century. 49 inches high, 27 inches wide and the plinth 15 inches wide and 11 inches deep.

Description: Cast iron post in the form of a swan's head with long neck of feathers forming a graceful loop above a ribbed post. Cast in the round as a single solid piece, and having the original length. American, second half of 19th century. 63 1/2 inch high. This post could be paired with a matching swan post also listed #16037 to make a pair of swan hitching posts.
