Price: Please contact us for price Description: Bench and two chairs after Karl Friedrich Schinkel, cast iron, late 19th century. Schinkel (1781-1841) a Prussian neoclassical architect designed this pattern in about 1835 for the Roman baths in Potsdam Park. The classical design was probably inspired by the discoveries at Pompeii and Herculaneum in the 18th century. The back panel features classical winged figures flanking a lyre. Bench 31"H. 48"W. 21"D.
