Description: Rare set of four antique cast iron rectangular jardiniere planters or "fern boxes", as they were often named in the 19th century. In an elegant French-Renaissance-style, their curved contours rise to scrolling upper corners and curled feet. These have been professionally cleaned and repainted black, ready to place. 11 inches high, 20 inches wide and 11 inches deep. Late 19th or very early 20th century. Set of four $950.
