Description: Pair of cast iron Mute Swan design planters, painted white with orange bills, well cast with good detail and with drainage holes. Mute Swans are an Eurasian species that was introduced to the U.S. in the 19th century, and were noted for their orange bills. Trumpeter swans are a native species and have black bills. Unusual pots to add charm to the garden. Early 20th century. 16 inches high, 17 inches deep and 11 inches wide. Pair $595.

This urn named Queen is illustrated in the Kramer Bros. Fdy. catalog. Professionally cleaned and repainted in a verdigris green. All original and formerly from the Wissinger Inn, Ebensburg, PA. 41 inches high and 34 inches wide.

Description: Antique zinc garden fountain of cherub or putto holding a dolphin, after the design of Italian sculptor Andrea del Verrocchio (d. 1488) of Florence for Lorenzo de Medici's villa near Florence, circa 1470. The 19th century American zinc example shown here is plumbed with copper tubing, with the water flowing from the mouth of the dolphin and is painted white. It is heavy in weight and a good size. 35 inches high, 15 inches wide. SALE $450.

Description: Exceptional and rare large set of nine antique wrought steel garden benches and matching arm chairs with scrolled arms, backs and seats, circa 1880-1900. American. These pieces are very heavy weight with riveted construction, and a very comfortable design. The chairs are an ample size for very comfortable seating for large persons. The set consists of three benches and six matching large arm chairs, nine pieces. Available in old white and green paint, they could also be professionally cleaned and painted to any custom color of your choice. A smaller set of one bench and two chairs can be purchased from the larger set. Matching sets of chairs and bench in this design are rare to find. This large grouping of nine pieces is a very unusual find. The large set consists of three benches and six chairs.

Description: Antique heavy steel wire work settee or bench labeled on back 'Scheeler & Sons, Buffalo, N.Y.'Located at 316-32 Terrace St. Buffalo, N.Y.this company was formerly Buffalo Wire Works, and advertised 'wire goods, wirework and artistic metal work of all kinds.' Circa 1896. This elaborately designed settee or bench with the rolled crest rail, shaped seat and decorative scroll work has been professionally cleaned, primed and repainted and comes with a custom black chintz cushion. 38 inches high, 54 inches wide and 24 inches deep. Circa 1896.

Description: Antique wire work garden settee or bench in heavy steel wire. This decorative and heavy settee has been professionally cleaned and repainted. Circa 1900. 38 inches high, 54 inches wide, and 21 inches deep. Fanciful wire work furniture became very popular in the second half of the 19th century when wire work companies sold many varieties of wire pieces such as plant stands, chairs and settees, bird cages, trellis and even cradles. These pieces could be easily moved to be placed outdoors, on porches or verandas or indoors. $450.
