Cast iron figural umbrella stand depicting young Hercules wrestling a serpent, after the original 1860 design registered by Edwin and Theophilus Smith, Sheffield, England, from Greek mythology. Marked "OWF Reg. Design" in casting.. The serpent coils around Hercules and forms the hoop for the umbrellas. Has a lift out drip tray. 32"H 18 1/2"W. 10"D.
