Description: Large 19th century cast iron garden urn or planter with egg and dart designed rim, lobed bowl, fluted socle, and sitting on stepped base. This urn has been professionally cleaned, repainted and been given a stepped metal plinth, presenting it well. The beautiful large bowl can hold large plants or arrangements that makes it a perfect piece to feature as a focal point in the garden. 25 inches high and 29 inches wide.

Description: Unusual classical form zinc urn and custom cover, with bronze finish. Cast with fine detail with large lobed bowl with egg and dart lip. Custom ceramic cover has fine leafage detail with pine cone finial. In the 19th century cast iron urns with covers were often called 'winter urns'. They are rare to find today. Early 20th century. Height with cover 26 inches. Height without cover 14 1/2 inches. Base 10 1/2 inches. $350.

Description: A large 19th century campana or bell shaped antique cast iron garden urn on original plinth or base. American. 42 inches high and 23 inches wide, and 20 square base. Two part with a egg and dart designed lip and a fluted and lobed bowl, this urn sits high on a large square decorated original plinth. This urn has been professionally cleaned and repainted a soft muted green color. This traditional form of garden urn with its upturned bell shape relates to early Greek vases from antiquity. In the 18th century plant-less urns or vases were placed with serious consideration often in the center of a garden or at intersecting paths or the end of an allee to form dramatic focal points in the garden. The beautiful form and detail of this large urn makes it a sculptural piece to draw the eye in the landscape. Price $1200.

In an elegant French-Renaissance-style, their curved contours rise to scrolling upper corners and curled feet. These have been professionally cleaned and repainted black, ready to place. Description: Handsome antique 19th century cast iron rectangular form planter box or 'Fern Box' with beautiful crisp design details of a large classical wreath on each side flanked by large fronds of acanthus leaves, with rings on each end and raised on decorative curled leafage feet. Very heavy weight and with drainage holes. Professionally cleaned and painted gloss black. This form was often called a "Fern Box" but could be planted many ways. 15 inches high, 24 inches wide and 13 inches deep. Circa 1870. Price $695.
