Carre of Paris in 1866 and introduced in America in 1870 and popular up to 1920's. The stylish and comfortable large arm chairs are in a continuous design of curved vertical steel strips with riveted construction and raised round springing seats centering a medallion. The three round matching tables have heavy plate glass tops. Early 20th century. Chairs 35 inches high, 26 1/2 inches wide. Tables 29 inches high and 30 inches wide.
