Rare pair of antique cast iron benches in the Rustic or Twig pattern, one of the early 19th century cast iron botanical designs of oak branches and leaves and side stretchers of entwined snakes, the seat formed by long curved knotted branches. Professionally cleaned and repainted in a verdigris color. 31"H. 35'W. 24"D. A Rustic Twig bench is featured in the current Mint Museum Uptown exhibit in Norfolk, VA.
