Description: American antique cast iron garden bench in the Curtain pattern with three panel back, openwork seat and scrolled arms, circa 1870-1900. This exotic design is a combination of Renaissance Revival and Gothic influences and was very popular at the end of the 19th century and was cast by all the major foundries. This bench is in excellent condition except for a replaced front apron by a decorative cut out iron piece, well installed. Side aprons are original. 35 inches high, 44 inches wide and 15 1/2 inches deep. $750. A good buy.

Description: Antique cast iron cemetery vases in two designs, three available in each design. One design is an elongated and ribbed vase with an asymmetrical top and spike below in old green paint. It measures 13 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. Price is $135. each. The other design is a vase with a pointed serrated top on a flared ribbed vase with a spike below measuring 10 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. Three are available and the price is $135. These would date to the early to late 19th century. Today these vases are uses for flower vases to place directly in the ground or mounted on a base such as wood as vases or candle holders etc. Very heavy iron, some with old green paint.

Description: Antique cast iron Curtain Pattern bench or settee labeled in casting on crest rail S.S. Bent & Son, N.Y. 37 inches high, 46 inches wide and 18 inches deep. 1880-1890. With three back panels with scrolls and a scrolled pierced seat this popular Curtain pattern was a combination of many design elements and cast by several foundries. The Samuel B. Bent foundry was established in 1850 and taken over by his son in 1865 when he constructed a new foundry in Port Chester, N.Y. and operated until 1893. This bench has been professionally cleaned and painted a light green.

Description: Antique cast iron "Fern and Blackberry" pattern labeled garden bench or settee in a large size. This botanical design originated with the Coalbrookdale Company in England and was recorded in the London Public Records office mid 19th century, and was then copied by American foundries. This design with the pierced pattern of large fern fronds and blackberries and comfortable shaped seat, is very naturalistic and would embellish any garden. It is labeled on the seat in the casting:"Kramer Bros. Fdy Co, Dayton, O. This bench has been professionally cleaned and painted "Forest Green" in PPG paint. 36 inches high, 58 inches wide and 22 inches deep.

Description: The Gothic pattern design in cast iron was patented in 1846 by the Carron Foundry of Scotland and then copied and patented in the U.S. in 1848. This Gothic bench is labeled on the seat in the casting "Kramer Bros. Fdy Co. Dayton, O." The Gothic name comes from the arch design of the back, but it is often called the "Rose Garden" pattern since it has been used in the White House Rose Garden since 1913. This bench has been professionally cleaned and repainted white. 35 inches high, 43 inches wide and 17 inches deep. Description: Rare very large cast iron garden bench or settee in the "Gothic" pattern, 19th century. This design was patented in England in 1846 by the Carron Foundry of Scotland and the later copied by American foundries and patented in the U.S. in 1848. The "Gothic" name comes from the arched pattern of the back. It was cast by several important 19th century American foundries such as Janes Beebe & Co., J.L. Mott Iron Works, J.W. Fiske and others in the 19th century. This pattern is often called the "Rose Garden" pattern since it has been used in the White House Rose Garden since 1913 up to today. This large bench with the provenance of an Eastern Shore of Maryland estate, is a rare large width . It measures: 37 inches high, 65 inches wide and 21 inches deep.

Description: A large late 19th century campagna-form antique cast iron garden urn on original plinth or base. American. 42 inches high and 23 inches wide. 20 square base. With a egg and dart designed lip and a fluted and lobed bowl, the urn sits high on a large square decorated original plinth. This urn has been professionally cleaned and repainted a light green color. This traditional form of garden urn with its upturned bell shape relates to early Greek vases from antiquity. Over the centuries single large urns have often been placed in the center of a garden as a focal point to be admired as an object of taste and refinement.

Description: Antique "Rustic" pattern cast iron garden bench or settee in design of oak branches, leaves and acorns with the end supports of entwined snakes. 19th century American. This is a beautiful example of one of the earliest botanical patterns cast in iron, originally in England, as early as 1840, and then immediately copied by American foundries. This pattern is often mistakenly called "Twig". Description: Antique round wire-work plant stand with intricate patterned border at the top, and scrolled and curled wrought iron legs ending in curled feet. In the 19th century machines were invented to extrude wire that was first used for fencing and then fanciful wire-work garden items such as plant stands,chairs and gazebos which became very popular for use in interiors and exteriors in the Victorian period. The foundries featured them in their catalogs along with cast iron urns and seating. This is a heavy round wire plant stand of that period. The round form is unusual. It has been stripped, primed and repainted a light green. 32 inches high 27 1/2 inches wide.
